What should you choose? An AIO or a Air Cooler?

Hello everyone in today's blog I will share my opinions with you that what should you choose an AIO or a Air Cooler.

First of all, If you want to overclock a beast CPU (like i9-9900k or r9 3900X) then I will highly suggest that you should go with an AIO.

If you are on budget and want lil bit overclocking then I would suggest to invest in a decent air cooler.

Pros & Cons of AIO

Here are the pros of an AIO

1. Extremely Silent

AIOs are extremely silent that Air Cooler. The noise will only be produced from radiator's fans. Unlike Air cooler coolers which sounds like a jumbo jet.

2. Extreme Personalization

You can personalize your AIO to an ultra god-damn level! If you want personalization then go with an AIO.

3. Efficient Cooling

AIOs gives you efficient cooling for your system. Water can cool your system at a much faster rate than your ordinary air cooler.

Now we should talk about some cons about AIOs.

1. Compatibility

AIO Pump Block is compatible with most of the sockets on the motherboard but If your case is small then the chances are that your 360MM aio wouldn't fit in.

However AIOs comes in many different shapes and sizes. For example, 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 360mm, 480mm and so on.

2. Expensive

There's no doubt that if they are providing you all those sexy cooling, personalization
then they would be EXPENSIVE.

A decent AIO starts around 5K INR in the market and goes upto 30K INR.

3. Maintenance

They need more maintenance than a air cooler because they contain liquid and if they leaked then probably it can kill your system. However modern AIOs are more safe to use. But that's a great point that you you should use an Air Cooler.

Pros & Cons of Air Cooler

Here are the pros of an Air Cooler

1. Cost Effective

Unlike AIOs an Air Coolers are more cost efficient and cheap as compared to AIOs.

2. Low Maintenance

Again unlike AIOs an Air Cooler is better in terms of maintenance because it only has two major parts- a heatsink and a cooling fan. You only need to clean those parts and your cooler will be great again.

Now let's talk about some cons of an Air Cooler.

1. Bulky Sizes

Unlike AIOs Air Coolers are huge and bulky you need to measure your cabinet's dimensions before buying an huge air cooler. Sometimes they can be a problem in your RAM Heat Sinks. Due to an enormous size.

2. Less Personalization

AIOs can be more personalized with their own particular software, you can personalize your AIO Pump Block and Radiator fans. But in the case of a air cooler you can only personalize your fans that are attached to your heatsink.

3. Noise

Air Coolers sounds like a Boeing 747 taking off. They are JUMBO JETS! But new and modern Air Coolers are more silenced than older ones but they are not near enough as an AIO.

Conclusion

If your cpu is powerful and you want to overclock it then go with an AIO. If you are a budget gamer or user like me then I will suggest you a decent Air Cooler.
